Longueuil (Quebec), March 10, 2025 – AQT and the National Bank of Canada are proud to announce the three finalists for the 2025 AQT-Banque Nationale CEO of the Year Award, one of the most prestigious recognitions in the Quebec tech community.

This year, the esteemed competition highlights the leadership, commitment, resilience, and innovation of tech CEOs who have inspired their teams, overcome market challenges, and contributed to the growth of Quebec’s tech sector in a complex economic environment. The winner will be revealed during Vision PDG 2025, which will take place from April 8 to 10, 2025, at the Fairmont Tremblant, a must-attend summit bringing together the biggest names in the province's tech sector.

With a strategic vision and operational agility, Nexapp has become a trusted partner in custom software development and AI integration. The company has also diversified, notably with the launch of the self-financed SaaS product Axify. Under his leadership, D-BOX made an impressive strategic turnaround by focusing on key segments such as theater cinema and professional simulation. In less than four years, his efforts resulted in a more than 50% increase in revenue and improved profitability. D-BOX not only overcame major challenges, like the Hollywood strike, but also doubled its stock value, drawing the attention of investors. Thanks to this bold vision, D-BOX is now a key player in haptic technology in the entertainment industry.

Selection Process
The AQT-Banque Nationale CEO of the Year Award follows a rigorous and impartial process. An independent jury of experienced tech industry leaders carefully evaluates each application before selecting the finalists. These finalists will have two opportunities to present their achievements: an interview during the Vision PDG program and a 4-minute presentation at the gala evening on April 10, marking the closing of the event. The winner will be determined equally between the jury’s evaluation (50%) and the vote of the attending tech CEOs (50%) during the evening. The voting process is managed by an independent survey firm, SOM Recherches et Sondages.
