François Dion

Passionate and visionary, François Dion is a committed and inspiring leader. Since its founding in December 2013, he has been at the helm of Levio, a rapidly growing company specializing in organizational transformation and information technology.

 

A graduate in business administration, his professional journey has been marked by success. He first launched a company in the construction industry before further developing his entrepreneurial skills by founding an IT consulting firm, where he worked for nearly five years.

 

In 1998, Mr. Dion joined Société Conseil Groupe LGS Québec, where he held various strategic positions and was eventually promoted to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Québec branch.

 

Since 2013, he has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Levio, the firm he proudly founded. Levio has earned an outstanding reputation in the market and now employs nearly 2,000 professionals across its offices in Québec City, Montréal, Sherbrooke, Ottawa, Charlottetown, and Toronto in Canada; Phoenix and Chicago in the United States; Mumbai in India; Paris in France; and Rabat-Salé in Morocco.

 

Under his leadership, Levio has won multiple awards and earned spots on prestigious rankings, both regionally and nationally. Notably, the company secured high rankings on Canada’s Top Growing Companies and Growth 500, where Levio ranked 2nd in Canada and 1st among consulting firms in 2019. His team has also won Vision and Fidéides awards from the Québec City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as Mercuriades awards from the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec, including the coveted Large Company of the Year award in 2020.

 

Levio ranked 16th on Glassdoor’s Best Employers list in 2023 and has been featured in L’Actualité’s Leaders of Growth ranking since 2022. It has also been among Québec’s 300 Largest Companies since 2022 and was listed in The America's Fastest Growing Companies ranking in 2021. Mr. Dion was a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award and won AQT’s CEO of the Year award in 2019.

 

In recent years, Mr. Dion has successfully led eleven (11) acquisitions of Canadian companies as part of an ambitious strategic plan, allowing Levio to expand into new markets, acquire complementary expertise, and diversify its client base.
