Alicia Shao

Alicia Shao is a futurist with a passion for exploring how we understand and shape our collective future. By day, she is a senior Service Designer at The LEGO Group, by night Alicia is an external lecturer at the Köln International School of Design and L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique, where she inspires students to think expansively about what it means to design for the future.

 

Alicia also serves on the board of Design Matters Denmark and frequently shares her insights as a speaker at global conferences. Driven by her commitment to democratizing the future, she champions future literacy, aiming to empower people to actively participate in shaping what’s next. Alicia sees the future as a space for everyone—a place to play, explore, and create meaningful impact.
