Bill 82: National Digital Identity Act

AQT presented its position before the parliamentary committee reviewing Bill 82, the National Digital Identity Act, which also includes provisions to modernize the framework for public procurement. Our recommendations focused on key issues for the sector:

• Ensuring fair access to government contracts for Quebec companies;
• Safeguarding data sovereignty in the allocation of technology mandates;
• Promoting local innovation by encouraging the adoption of technology solutions developed in Quebec.
